Arley Hall & Gardens are in a stunning part of Cheshire, at Arley near Northwich. A place of enormous character, charm and interest, it makes for a fantastic day out with you and your loved ones. Visitors are warmly welcomed to this much-cherished family home, which is proud to provide a place where you can relax, unwind and replenish.

A stunning stately home, Arley Hall is home to elaborate ceilings, oak panelling, impressive fireplaces, intricate stained glass and beautiful finishes and furnishings, which makes the house so special. The present Hall stands on the same site as the first Hall when it was built in 1469 and overlooks the famous gardens and beautifully landscaped park, which we find guests of all ages enjoy. Spending some time at Arley Hall gives an intimate insight into life at the Hall and the history of a family who have loved and cherished it for over 500 years.

The award-winning gardens are amongst the finest in Europe and are lovingly nurtured and cared for. The herbaceous border is its best-known feature and is probably the first planted in England. As a result, along with the unique Quercus Ilex Columns, Pleached Lime Avenue of trees and the furlong walk the garden is amazing and interesting.

For those visiting with families, there is plenty to do to keep them busy for hours. This includes:

Outdoor PlayZone with zip wire, sandpit, swings and slides.
Willow dome in the woods – the perfect den.
Picnic area for a summers lunch or area to play.
Plenty of space for ball games.
Magical gardens waiting to be explored.
Quiz around Arley Hall.

Dogs are very welcome on a lead, we provide water bowls, poo bins and even dog ice-cream! Dogs are welcome in The Gardener’s Kitchen.
