Townend Cottage is a cosy, pet friendly holiday home in Beadlam, North Yorkshire. This is a stunning part of England, on the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park.
This award-winning cottage probably dates back to the 16th century & has been beautifully converted and modernised throughout. It has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished to ensure that all who stay feel like they are right at home from the moment they arrive.
The accommodation comprises of a well-equipped kitchen/diner, large, cosy sitting room with open fire, double bedroom, twin bedroom & a family bathroom with bath and shower.
It should be noted that prices quoted are all inclusive of duvets, linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels and tea towels) gas, electricity, free Wi-Fi, coal and logs. There are no extras!
Places to visit include the North York Moors, Yorkshire Coast, The Wolds and even the Yorkshire Dales – all within easy travelling distance. There is a wonderful variety of castles (including Castle Howard) houses and gardens in the area.
For those who bring their canine companions, you will find that there are a plethora of walks just waiting to be explored and many attractions where dogs are welcome.
