Heathfield Farm Camping Site, Norton Green, Freshwater, Isle of Wight
Heathfield Farm Camping Site is a family run campsite located at Norton Green on the west side of the Isle of Wight. The park is open & extremely level with easy access to the 60 generously spaced pitches.
All of the pitches have standard 16amp electric hook up (Blue Plug). There are 5 large pitches for people that require that little bit more space for larger tents or for more relaxation space! The 6 Premier View pitches have a great view across the Solent towards Hurst Castle.
The site is located just 2 miles west of Yarmouth Ferry Terminal and only 1 mile north of Freshwater Town Centre, which has a good selection of shops and eateries.
The site is set in nine acres of unspoilt countryside on the site of a non-working farm. The planting of indigenous trees and shrubs has created a haven for birds and small mammals. You may even catch a glimpse of the resident red squirrels. There is also a wild flower meadow with lots of space to exercise dogs. The large separate playing field is ideal for all ball games and has 2 public BBQ areas with picnic tables.
The park is also a great starting point for exploring the surrounding countryside on foot or by bike. A unique information board and map with colour coded walks will help you decide your route.
