Cragg Cottages are 3 fully equipped self-catering stone cottages, situated above the beautiful town of Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire. If you’re looking for a relaxing short stay or a base for more energetic activities, this is the perfect location. For those who bring their dogs, you will find that the area is incredibly inviting to them, there are many wonderful walks, dog-friendly pubs, a café and plenty of places for them to explore.
Each of the self-catering cottages is open-plan, so they are very spacious. The cottages sleep 4 in 2 spacious bedrooms. Downstairs, the cottages offer a large kitchen/diner and a lounge with TV. The outside area has a locked container which is perfect for bikes.
The cottages are in an elevated position so the views are spectacular. The Calderdale Way is just 300 yards away, and with numerous local walks, the cottages are ideal for people looking to explore the local countryside. With direct access onto the longest continuous incline in England, cyclists can relish the challenge of riding this difficult route up onto the heather clad moors. There is also a golf course nearby which has great views.
The local moorland golf course offers some majestic views. The local bus “The Cragg Flyer” stops just outside the cottages for journeys to Mytholmroyd (2miles), Hebden Bridge (4miles) or just down the road to a true local pub ‘The Robin Hood’. The Hinchliffe Arms country restaurant and bar is also within walking distance.
