The Brew House sleeps 6/7 people and is a luxurious holiday home near the centre of Bakewell in Derbyshire. The holiday cottage is only a 500-yard walk from the centre of town and is an ideal base for those who want to explore the Peak District National Park.
This holiday cottage is an unusual and interesting property which started life as a brewery but latterly was an artist’s studio. The artist, Romey Brough’s work can be seen throughout the house.
The property is an ‘upside down’ holiday house, having a large living space with a fabulous roof light incorporating the kitchen, dining and living area at the top of the house, great for all to gather together at the end of the day and enjoy good food and wine in real comfort. The holiday cottage has 3 bedrooms, each of which has their own private facilities.
There is an open plan kitchen/dining room which is fully equipped with everything you may need during your stay. There are exposed beams, fitted units and an integral electric double oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
To ensure guests have a relaxing break, a welcome pack is provided on arrival, containing all linen and towels & a selection of DVD’s, books and games.
