The Coquetvale Hotel, Rothbury, Morpeth, Northumberland
The Coquetvale Hotel was built in the 19th Century as a hotel to service rail travellers passing through the Rothbury Station and still retains many of its historic features. It has been tastefully refurbished by its current owners. It offers dog friendly accommodation, delicious food, wide range of beverages and is in a great location for exploring the beautiful countryside.
There are 14 hotel bedrooms which are all en suite and include flat screen TV and refreshment tray. Serving breakfast and dinner, afternoon tea, light snacks, bar food and Sunday lunches, the chef adapts menus seasonally and sources locally produced ingredients where possible. A varied vegetarian choice, a children’s menu and a pizza selection are all available too. Meals are served in both the restaurant and for those who don’t wish to exclude their 4 legged family members, they can join you in the hotels bar area, where the team are more than happy to serve your meals, breakfast through to dinner.
A well stocked bar has a good range of drinks, and weather permitting they can be enjoyed whilst relaxing on the decked area, with panoramic views of the Coquetvale. During the winter months then the roaring fire in the bar makes it a cosy place to relax.
The hotel has the facilities to host any occasion from weddings to meetings, and can cater for up to 100 guests with events tailor made to suit your requirements.
