Haltwhistle is famously known as being the centre of Britain. We are Ideally located for plenty of scenic walks along Hadrians Wall, as well as areas of interest i.e. Vindalanda, House Steads, Birds Oswolds and the Roman Army Museum. We are also surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty and scenic walks along Hadrian’s Wall and parts of the Pennine Way.

We are situated only 3/4 of a mile from the centre of Haltwhistle and 1/2 a mile from Hadrian’s Wall itself, we do have a local bus route that passes by the cottages.

We welcome your pets to come and stay with you and enjoy your holiday as they are part of the family as well. We do have a couple of stables should you wish to bring your equine friends with you. There is access to bridle paths within the area for you to ride along as well as the coast if you fancied a gallop along the waters edge.
