Penrose Burden offers self catering accommodation located in beautiful North Cornwall on the edge of Bodmin Moor just outside of St Breward.

Penrose Burden accepts Dogs; you can view this Self Catering Property on our website www.weacceptpets.co.uk by clicking on the link provided below:

Its central location makes both coastlines easily accessible; the South with its long sandy beaches, historic ports, secluded creeks and the Eden Project and the North with its dramatic cliffs, quiet coves, grand country houses and historic market towns.

Traditional stone buildings have been carefully converted to single level self catering cottages and sympathetically designed with the needs of wheelchair users in mind. Exposed beams and original features blend well with walls hung with original paintings by local artists and simple modern furnishings.

Each has a wood burning stove with plentiful logs for year round comfort, their own private garden and outstanding views over our wooded valley and beyond to the dramatic moorland.

Visitors are welcome to wander our mixed farm (the main farming activities are at a respectful distance from the cottages), where there are high pastures, river meadows, a wildfowl lake, woods and streams and over a mile of walks along the River Camel. The cottages are just yards from the start of the camel trial.
