Stay for bed and breakfast, home cooked evening meals and a well stocked bar.

The hotel boasts its own private wooded path leading down to the beginning of the high street which is illuminated at night. Award winning grounds have a stunning variety of flora and fauna on show, together with the mixed bird and animal life this entices into the garden.

We welcome dogs and with our family rooms the hotel is ideal for everybody. The Darnley is privileged to have its own large car park, very much a premium in Ilfracombe, some of the parking being under cover. All parking is free for residents.

Ilfracombe is a short drive away from the beautiful beaches of Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde famed for the miles of golden sand, surfing, kite flying, swimming and sailing. Ilfracombe is also near Exmoor National Park, and is the main harbour for Lundy Island.
