Privately owned and managed by Tim and Carol Waller, the Corinium operates to a three star standard and prides itself on offering the best traditions of warm hospitality, efficient service and a close attention to detail.

The Corinium Hotel is situated in one of the oldest parts of Cirencester with many buildings of interest in the surrounding area. It is just a five minutes walk to the Market Place, which is the heart of the town and the site of the impressive Parish Church of St John Baptist with extensive grounds and a lovely river walk. Guided tours of the church are available.

Also only a short walk from the Hotel is the Bathurst Estate, which is the home of the Earl Bathurst. The house is not open to the public, but the park is well worth a visit and open daily from 9am to 5pm. The entrance gates are at the top of Cecily Hill with the Broad Ride continuing for just over a mile, all of which is lined with Chestnut trees.

Cirencester Market is held every Monday and Friday in the Market Place with the Farmer’s Market every other Saturday. There are also regular antique and craft fairs in the Corn Hall and the Bingham Hall.
