Our 5 star rated Victorian country house is located within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. The spectacular Cader Idris Mountain is right on the doorstep of our guest accommodation.

Breakfast is served 8.30am to 9.45am. A large selection of fruits, cereal and yoghurt followed by a full Welsh breakfast, smoked salmon or vegetarian cooked breakfast. We can also cater for those with any special dietary requirements with prior notice.

Dolgellau is an excellent base for walking, with many fabulous routes near to the hotel and in the surrounding area. There is a beautiful mixture of lakes, mountains, forestry and riverside. Afon Rhaiadr is an ideal place to stay if you’re looking to go up Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales at nearly 3,000 feet as well as numerous other activities and attractions within close proximity. The Mawwddach Trail is perfect for walking and cycling.
